Born in Kyoto Prefecture in 1992. Completing master's course in ceramics, Kyoto City University of Arts, Graduate School of Fine Arts in 2018. After graduating, she is based in Kyoto. Growing up in a family where her parents were Japanese painters, she loved drawing since childhood. But discovered more interest and depth in three-dimensional expressions than two-dimensional ones, and began studying ceramics in earnest at university. The main theme of her work is to reconstruct, reinterpret, and express symbolic things that have been passed down through culture, history, and religion by using clay as a material. Its value is perceived from a decorative perspective, such as shape and color. Her works are characterized by majestic forms reminiscent of tools used in religious ceremonies and historic buildings. They are colorful and decorated with different materials such as gold, silver, brass, pearls, and string, creating a unique and elegant worldview. Creating intricate decorations and multi-layered shapes can be a challenge. The repeated, time-consuming process of carefully creating and firing small parts, assembling and firing them, painting and firing them again, is possible only because of her passion for her work and the skills she has cultivated. In recent years, she has been expressing her works based on concepts that pose introspective questions such as views on life and death and the laws of nature, in addition to physical elements such as color and shape. At Art Collaboration Kyoto in 2024, the theme was "Umwelt," a concept expressed through artworks that everything in the world lives in its own unique world of perception and is in harmony with each other. At the same time, her drawings were also displayed, making the exhibition a deeper look at her worldview.
